Kylemore Lough Photo

Photographer’s Note

Connemara is certainly one of the most beautiful regions of Ireland. I had the pleasure to visit this charming place some time ago. One of the must see places is Kylemore Abbey, which has a very pretty location on a side of the Kylemore Lough. The lake extends further and walking around you may find many lovely spots.

On the first day of our trip to Connemara it was raining non-stop, and there was no visibility at all. Hoping for a change we drove around it but we did not see anything. Stopping from time to time in the dense fog we could hear sheep but we did not see them. Next day in the morning it was raining even worse but we started same trip again. During the day the weather got much better. You can imagine our excitement to see landscapes like the one in this shot.

czesc Mariusz,
ladne jasne zdjecie, dodajace czlowiekowi pogody ducha. Dobra kompozycja oraz piekne wiosenne(a moze to juz letnie) kolorki sprawiaja ze az sie chce ogladac takie fotografie. Dobra odslona.

Naprawde jestem pelna podziwu dla Waszego zapalu w poszukiwaniu niezwyklych miejsc w tym smutnym kraju.

Hello Mariusz,

Yeah this place look very pretty. The flowers add a more pleasant spring feature as well. I find the colours and sharpness of this image very nice. Your chosen point of view is also effective to show us the lake and its surroundings. Was there a boat or something else behind the pink flowers?

To zdjecie naprawde napawa optymizmem w tym kraju deszczowcow. TO NIE JEST PRAWDZIWA IRLANDIA:) Bardzo ladnie ujete. Jak jest swiatlo, to naprawde takie miejsca przyjmuja calkiem inny wymiar. Miales szczescie do pogody,z tego co widze. Doskonalosc w kazdym calu. Fantastyczne wykonanie.

Hi Mariusz,
Kylemore Abbey is a lovely place, we have seen many times the abbey on TE, but not a lot the very nice Kylemore lough. You had a great light and rhododendrons have very beautiful colour.

Hi Mariusz. A lovely springtime impression from the quiet Irish lake. Beautiful light to enhance the charming details of the fine scenery at the best, and I like the way you composed this one with the bending foreground tree and the array of pink blossoms opening up the deep view towards the back. Vivid colors all around, a delight to watch this one.

To nie może być Irlandia, szczególnie patrząc dziś przez okno absolutnie w to nie wierzę!
