Five Fingers Strand Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hi there,

I've uploaded one of the photos I took in the Five Fingers Strand. It is a stunning beach... you wouldn't expect to see such beach in Ireland. It was named after the line of five rock pinnacles which you can see jutting out from the headland at the entrance to the Bay.

There isn't much to be said about the beach. If you decide to walk over the top of the hill, you will see some spectacular views of the Doagh Island, Trawbreaga Bay, Lagg Chapel and graveyard sited in the sand dunes at 'Lagg'.

Very well composed picture. I like the lines of the waves and the reflection on the wet sand in between.

Cześć Darek, Ale w tej Irlandii pogoda, piekne słońce, fantastyczna plaża z mięciutkim piaseczkiem, fajne fale, woda pewnie dwadzieścia kilka stopni, tak sobie popływać albo przynajmniej pochodzic po brzegu...

ladne plazowisko, fajna ta tafla wody z odbiciem, dobry kadr. Jak widac, niekoniecznie Irlandia jest zachmurzona. Perspektywa tez mi sie podoba.

A magnificent long perspective along this beautiful yet deserted beach. The wonderful sky adds much to the mood of the shot, which is very well composed and framed. Light, colours and clarity are all excellent. Fine photo work.

Czesc Darku,
doskonale ujecie. Kolory po prostu nieziemskie czy tez nieirlandzkie.
Niebo tak bogate i ciekawe. No i to fantastyczne odbicie jest swietne. Jednak przede wszystkim swietnie dopracowane i zaplanowane szczegoly kompozycji. Mnostwo ciekawych linii krzyzujacych sie tu i owdzie. np ta cieniutka linia pianki po prawej.
I jeszcze wszystko takie nieskazone ludzmi.
Wspaniala praca, zreszta plaza tez byla niczego sobie.

Hi Dariusz , a lo mejor me lo parece a mi , pero encuentro la linea del horizonte ligeramente inclinada o me lo hace la perspectiva?.
En todo caso estupendo grafismo y colores de un bellisimo paisaje con playa y montaña.

No,no piekna plaza i na pewno jest ich wiele w Irlandii,ale ta szczegolnie mi sie podoba.Swietny kadr,czysciutki piaseczek,zielone wzgorza,fenomenalne odbicie i niebo przepiekne.Dla mnie bomba!

I agree with you, Five Fingers Strand is a wonderful beach. And you have a wonderful view too from the cliffs in the background ! I love this fantastic sky and the reflections on the wet sand. I think you used a great angle, and it gives a great depth of field to your photo. Great colours too, and excellent sharpness. Great shot, thanks for sharing !

Ależ te skały wciągają w głąb obrazu. Podoba mi się bardzo nastrój zdjęcia. Z jednej strony tak spokojnie, pusto a z drugiej czuć wiatr, który pędzi chmury i podnosi fale. Świetne światło i kolory.
