Photographer’s Note

Hi there,
I found this funny looking rock on the beach in Portsalon. It looks like a flipper, doesn't it?

This picture was taken on the Stocker Strand, Portsalon. The site extends between Portsalon Pier and Saldanha Head. It encompasses the dunes, beach and adjacent waters of Ballymastocker Bay. It is located in an area of outstanding wildlife habitat and landscape quality. The site is divided into three distinct zones by two streams that flow across the beach.

You will notice that it really is a beautiful place. Although the sunshine adds a lot - colours are more vivid and bright. If you ever get a chance - please visit this area. Wonderfull for a walk, picnic or any other outdoor activity.

witaj Darku,
bardzo ladnie pokazane szerokim katem(o ktorym zreszta ciagle mysle tylko nie wiem co wybrac) piekne kolorki i kontrast no i co najwazniejsze to slonecznie bo juz mam dosc tych deszczow i wiatrow ostatnimi czasy. Mistrzowska robota jak zawsze zreszta.

No może i tak... strasznie mi się podobają te FG skałokamienie i ich wzorek, no miło tam...miło, ale mieszkać pewnie nie moglabym po Waszych opowieściach:)

Witaj Bardzo ładna skałka. a za skałką to ujście jakiejs rzeczki, czy tylko taka płytka zatoczka? zauważam, ze bardzo ładne miejsce i slicznie pokazane. jak tak będziesz zachęcał, to nie wiem... Piekny krajobraz. Pozdrawiam

A perspective expanding radially by a wide lens is truly pleasant. The floating white puffy clouds make visual impact stronger. Nice lighting for this attractive place.

Hello Darek,
Perfect lighting to capture this lovely coastline. The foreground rocks are well placed to give a feeling of immense depth, which is further enhanced by the streaky clouds. Great natural looking colours and wonderful sharpness. A fine photograph.

Hello Dariusz,
really this rock formation has a specific shape and it looks as a flipper.But the best I like is the rocky coastline with the great colour tints that contrasted perfect with the blue of the sky.Well done.
