Photographer’s Note
This is the River Finn which divides the twin towns of Ballybofey (Bealach Feich) and Stranorlar (Stranurla) in County Donegal, Ireland. This particular shot was taken from Drumboe Woods, Stranorlar.
The river is 40 miles long having its source in Lough Finn and the beautiful mountains surrounding. It's famous for it's salmon fishing, some people paying up to EU500 per day to fish there. Further up the river towards Killygordon there's a place called the Salmon Leap where you can watch the amazing sight of salmon spawning in the summertime.
The nets you can see to the right of the photo are the present grounds of the County Donegal Gaelic Football Team.

Hi Lisa,
Without those nets this could be a scene from "Lord of the Rings"... Beautiful colours and framing. A very inviting scenery - I'd love to rent a kayak and paddle on that river right away!
See you around,
Claudia

Hi Lisa
You show nicely that beautiful piece of nature, fantastic variation of colours of the bushes along the blue of the river .Look like a nice place to visit, I'm sure.
Nice place to throw a line in and try to catch a salmon or two.
Regards
Mark
Have a great day

Ciao carissima Lisa,
c'è qualcosa nei colori che non mi convince molto, per il resto la composizione è bellissima, con una grande atmosfera di pace e serenità. Bravissima.
Un abbraccio.

Nice mirror, Lisa, the netting on the right side completes that part of the photograph somehow. Great composition, depth of field and focal point. Let's go fishing!

Hello,
Your gallery is very beautiful however I don't like this picture because it's too much saturated. Maybe using B&W it could be could. The sky is also burned (even it's hard to find a good blue sky in Ireland !)
Anyway a very nice water reflexion.
TFS,have a nice day.

Hi Lisa,
This is a wonderful shot with a great POV. I like the details very much and the colours are very nice although this photo seems to have a bit of a blueish hue. It works ok here! Well done!

Ciao Lisa,
la foto è molto ben composta quello che non mi piace e' questa eccessiva saturazione del colore, certo passare a cs3 puo' dare dei problemi all'inizio ma son sicuro che presto rimetterai tutto a posto.

Ciao Lisa, I like the composition in this lovely scene, river is well framed with the grass in FG, adding depth as well, the tree with it's overhanging branch is well placed forming the top half of the frame. Light was difficult but well managed, colour I'm not sure, a tad saturated, but it's only a personal opinion, as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
saluti
Santo
