One of many lighthouses in Ireland, Fanad Lighthouse is one of the most spectacular perched on a rugged headland in north west Donegal. Its beauty and charm are enhanced even more when highlighted by beautiful evening sunlight.

Hello Derek,

Perhaps millions picture are made from this
lighthouses, this picture is one that the
viewer will remember.
Timing and moment are great(splashing wave
on a stone, the light from the lower sun),
the point of view, light management and
the composition are excellent.

a wonderful composition with a gorgeous light, stunning colors and lots of interesting details. The eye is drawn magically to the well iluminated lighthouse in front of an dramatic sky. Wonderful indeed.
