Photographer’s Note
A winding river, shot some years ago. Actually I don't recall where, thought it might be Fermanagh, but TE does not allow me select that county, as it is in the UK! I deliberately used the zoom lens to crop in close for this shot at the time I too it.
PP: scanned from a small (6" x 4") print, adjusted levels, saturation, sharpened with unsharp mask.

Hello,
Fabulous photo! Interesting place, great composition. Nice soft colours. Technically, it's perfect. It looks a bit like a painting, but it's a huge advantage. Well done!
Cheers,
Damian

The curves of the river were well positioned, taking us along to the back of the picture, to the beautifully green fields. The animals on the bottom of the pic helped give a real dimension of the grandness of the landscape. When I was in Ireland 11 years ago, I saw many really beautiful places. Nice shot.

What a fantastic composition of this well-titled photo; all the curves lead our eye successfully through the image. But for the small amount of sky the noise wouldn't be noticable.

Hi Tim,
I haven´t visit your gallery for a while and found wonderful and original images (well done!).
This is a beautiful view, well composed in the vertical format and with a marvellous combination of colours. I like the patterns of the fields in the background and the white points of the sheeps against the greenery in foreground. Nice dephness and graphism. The curves of the river, from this angle, are very pleasant, as well.

Ricardo

Hi Tim - it's a really good shot, nice composition & excellent colours. There is that little bit of noise it in but to be honest, it doesn't take anything away from the shot.

Hi Tim, nice snaky river and good light on this green landscape, but this scan output kept too much noise I think, as I see in the sky.

Hi Tim
I lokked at your 2 winding river postings and ended up with this one. Guess the vertical format is my preference here with the foreground fields and the vurved river in the back. Maybe a bit 'slimmer' frame had benn ok too..

Hi Tim.
I must cnfess that I really like this small serie of pictures dealing with this somptuous place. Maybe this one is a little bit more dynamic thanks to the vertical crop. The light conditions are once again perfectly managed. Thanks for sharing.
