Photographer’s Note

Here is an irish friend I met on a car park in Cuilcagh Mountains. Irish are usually very chatty, so I was very surprised how this one was close ! Yet he came to me as I was about to go back to my car. I could see in his eyes that he wanted to communicate, but the language barrier was probably too high :( So we just look each other for a long moment, sometimes it tells more than a long speech ... Hope to see you again my friend !

Photo taken on a car park on road R200 that goes through Bellavally Gap in the south of Cuilcagh Mountains. These mountains are on both county Cavan and county Fermanagh. They offer a typical irish mountains landscape : soft reliefs, bogs and moors everywhere. The weather was not favourable to mountains pictures, so I took some pictures of the only local people I could meet ! Note Cuilcagh Mountains are the place where river Shannon (the longest river in Ireland) rises, at a place called Shannon Pot.
