Photographer’s Note
One of the stops on the way to Landmannalaugar - Leirubakki.
A hitchhiking trip means the ride doesn't always come...
Landmannalaugar and its beautiful landscape was still ahead and it was high time to set a tent and get some sleep. Leirubakki was a perfect place for it. Amazing view on Hekla, farms on both sides of the road and horses which in Iceland are special.
This is one of the pictures I bare in my mind from that small village...

Hello Michal,
This looks like a wonderful adventure out in the open spaces of Iceland.....kind of the wild west.....of the north. I like to stark contrast and silhouettes created by the POV into the bright sun. Very atmospheric. Well done.
Cheers Grant

Hi Michal, I like your first post for Iceland, although it's not so "Icelandic" at the first glance:) Very beautiful contrast between the dark shadow and bright sunshine. I can even feel the wind blowing the horses' mane. When driving in Iceland we met some horses on the road too, but have not chance to stop there and enjoy the view.

Bonjour,
belle photo de ces cavaliers qui conduisent les chevaux.
Ces silhouettes font penser a un film cowboys.
Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté.
Amitiés Thomas

This one is also quite special, I like the wide crop and subtle colors.
Good effect with the sun ahead of you, something that usually doesn't work for me.
