Day I - 5:42 pm

But the sun didn't stay. And the clouds came back.

But there was something different.

The clouds were a little higher than they were before. And I saw the ice. And I understood it was a glacier. Here, above the night camp. Something probably huge, something hard to really figure out...

And Iceland was playing with me again : discovering its nature slowly, mysteriously...

Hi Stephane... This kind of photos, with this cloudy sky, are not easy to make. The white of the cloud turn the photometer of the camera in something a bit crazy, but in this case you achieve to bring us the mood of the place. Congratulations.

une photo bizarre, hormis ce glacier qui semble arriver de nulle part je trouve que ta photo manque de netteté ou alors c'est moi qui vieilli (ce que serai normal)

Ton texte et ton image s'accordent parfaitement, on sent cette impression d'immensité mais on reste aussi sur notre faim de savoir ce qui se cache derrière ces nuages. Bonne compo verticale avec ces strates de couleurs qui se succèdent.

la photo n'est pas exceptionnelle ici, mais elle laisse deviner quelque chsoe de vraiment exceptionnel eet cela en fait sa qaulité, on attend que ces nuages s'effacent.
Ton récit accroit mon envie de viister ces terres.
J'espère que tu publieras un carnet d'aventure.

Islande ? Encore en vadrouille je vois, et tu as meme fais du shopping avant de partir, felicitations ! Pour la photo l'endroit est interessant mais je la sentirais mieux en horizontal, la partie devant la barriere est trop vide et pourrait etre croppee alors que le terrain demande a continuer un peu vers la gauche.

Un magnifique endroit dont ta photo rend bien la magie, l'émotion dont tu nous fais part dans ton petit texte. De superbes couleurs, des palns très bien différenciés, les moutons qui, au loin, apportent une touche de vie.

And you are also playing with us, presenting to us in a smart way, your experience in Iceland. Slowly, you give a little more each new post. Just like nature did to you. Now I can see some colors and the presence of life (tents or sheeps or whatever) in the distance. And the glacier...melting, roling down the mountain, stretching its fingers. Interesting vertical composition of stripes, including the large white one on top that gives strengh to the mysterious glacier.

La miniature ne révèle pas la grandeur et la beauté de ce paysage... Mais à mon avis, le haut de cette photo est trop bleu (la montagne, et bien sûr, le glacier aussi). Belle photo austère, les moutons donnent une échelle intéressante !
