Iceland trek 2008
close to Landmannalaugar mountains
is it an artistic shot? ... i don't thing so, but my intention was different, i want to show you magical places in Iceland...and it is one from those. I took this one from very narrow bridge (space just for one car) and behind it was double sharp tipical on icelandic mountains road... no time to virtuosity.

excellent natural colours that you got here...
the two colours of the waters, one full of sediments, reminds me of the confluence of Rio Solimoes and Rio Negro in the Amazonas basin...
but what I like most is the pure and unspoiled nature. Good definition and image formation.

Iceland definitely is a photographer's heaven. I understand why you pushed the shutter release. Amazing place with amazing colors, really. The composition is not so bad by the way...

What astounding colours in the water here, and such a great sense of space and distance. Great composition to include the rocky cliffs at the bottom right corner, to add a sense of depth. The sharpness is just right. This landscape is absolutely breath-taking.

Hi Lukasz, that is a remarkable scene you show in this image. Composition is good too with the close up of the rocks in the foreground, the water of different colours taking our eye to the bright spot of light behind the dark clouds. I guess you used a tripod for this , or perhaps part of you car as a substitute? cheers, Steve

Iceland is a fantastic place indeed. The pic is very well composed following the snaking direction of the river, and the cliffs and hills in the distance round up the image very well. What seems odd to me is the contrast between the muddy tone and the strong blue of the river.

No, a dzisiaj Islandia. Wyspa lodu! Tam to mnie nie bylo jeszcze. I jakos chyba za bardzo nie ciagnie. Choc widze, ze widoki tam super. Ale tam pewnie ciagle zimno? Bardzo interesujacy kolor wody.

good composition and well balance in water color and sky.sharpness show texture of island very well.the direction of water give sense of broad and endless that made this shot a peaceful scenic place.

I was intrigue by the colors looking at the thumbnail, but it was more fantastic in a bigger picture, a phenomenon that seemed to be bizarre but pleasing to the eye. Your foreground of the rocks works well here, Brilliant composition Lukasz, my congratulation .

It is always amazing to dis cover that on earth there are places like this. The spirit of TE !

From Ireland to Iceland, looks just as beautiful, the soft look of the blue water looks superb against the more detailed greenish part. The shape of the water is impressive and the rock detail is sharp and holding very well. Great work

Przegladam sobie Twoje fotki bo dawno nie odwiedzalam tej galerii, to jest niesamowite, tez tak mysle, ze czasem nie chodzi o dopieszczenie zdjecia w Photoshopie ale o cos co przyciaga oko... tutaj, jest swietnie.
