Hi John,
Your extreme wide-angle did not let you down here. The depth is amazing, thanks to those rocks but more to your composition skills. The deep red colour in front makes a second remark which makes the image only more interesting. And althouth the jellyfish look interesting, i prefer this wide landscape...very nice work.

This is gorgeous. Fantastic colour, fantastic textures, Great use of the very wide angle. Congratulations!
Hello John,
Strange subject well put in evidence by a good use of the wide angle lens possibility. Obviously, Iceland is a worth place to discover.
If all go well, I should go there in July for a Hiking of 2 weeks in Landmannalaugar. I hope I will be able to take as nice photos as yours.
Yves.

A very beautiful sharp colored foreground.
Very interesting view
Cheers Stefano
hi John, I imagine it's all stinking over there.. poor jellyfish. good wide angle PoV and ruby colours. I'd go (maybe) for portrait view to show more jellyfishes on the bottom or maybe just get rid of the frame to show more beach on both sides? anyway, nice job and another good picture. cheers!
What amazes me most here are the colors and the textures. The wide angle brings that out with almost a movement. It's a very alluring image, showing the variety of life that can be found on these beautiful, desert beaches. Your use of the wide angle makes me want to get one...
Very beautiful and interesting.
Have a nice day dear John.
Cheers,
Michčle

Amazing shot with nice use of the wide angle lens for such a fantastic foreground, wow I've never seen such a sight before, with all these dead jellyfish forming such a graphical and colorful pattern...
Cheers

Hello John.
I can't say that I like anything about jellyfish, but they make a great pattern in this fantastic very wide angle shot. Your aperture gave this great DOF, and the exposure has captured the light and provided rich colours. I love the cloud formation low over the headland on the right; the whole shot has a real dynamism about it - vortex like. Very impressive.

Andrew

Hi John
This foreground is superb with such interesting textures created by the jelly fish, rocks and seaweed. Having the high horizon emphasizes the foreground which is beautifully lit.

A wonderful capture here John. The colour and detail in the FG is exceptional and the wide angle perspective has the land and sky coming to a point near the top of the frame.
Well done.

Another amazing capture John! The use of the wide angle is just superb and you managed to balance the compo extremely well. Colours saturation, contrast and camera set up seem to be the best to deliver a stunning result..as always!
Thanks for sharing it and take care.

Uuuuuh, did that smell? It seems that as soon as I opened this here I got a strong smell in my room and that is good because it means that this image portraits exactly the moment that you captured here so well. I wonder how close you have to get to this graveyard to get all the details and colors of the jellyfish in the foreground. Excellent work with a perfect balance between the jellyfish right in my eyes and the sea in the background as a reminder of where all these creatures are coming from. I just wish you could have gotten a better definition/ sharpness overall. Not quite sure what the limiting factor was because I almost can see some oversharpening elements in the foreground.

Hola John,
Preciosa imagen.
Saludos,
Mirari

Wow! Fantastic! You dared bending kneeling to get that POV! Crazy you!...;o) That's a very unusual pic but somehow instructive and clearly brightly done. I like the colors and light here. Excellent textures too with the jellyfish, the shining weeds etc.
Congrats
Pris.

Hi John, another great near/far shot, but this one with additional interest provided by the (disgusting!) subject shown within the landscape behind it. cheers, Steve

Hi John,
I must admitt I'm very glad that there are only 4 new photos in yout gallery since my last checking. You see, each and every one is so excellent that it would take me even more time to compliment them all. :)
I will start in the beginning with sad jellyfish graveyard. I'm confronting myself with two completely different feelings. One is great sadness seeing this vast area of dead jellyfish but on the other hand I cannot help to admire how beautiful scenery they create. The addition of red on brownish soil and complementary scenery of blue makes colour harmony to its perfection, the use of wide angle...excellent.
Kind regards,
Jeri

Hi John,
This is a fascinating photograph. So much detail and so much to take in. Love the red colors in the foreground. The super low POV and the strands of seaweed work well to accentuate the depth of the scene.
Cheers!
