Greetings Anellise,
I enjoy this composition, it is indeed simpler than many of your previous compositions, but simplicity is good. The humble church looks quaint nestled in the grove of trees. Those dark, background hills are imposing and inspiring, it is the prefect backdrop to this setting. Borgarfjardharsysla seems to me a particularly difficult word to pronounce, I am lost after the first few syllables. The neutral frame, by contrast really makes the colours appear richer and more varied. It is amazing what a basic frame can do. Very good work, this would make for an interesting watercolour painting subject.

Hallo Anellise!
What a great light you've caught here! The contrast between the foreground and the dark slopes in the background and this a bit threatening sky couldn't be bigger. A really wonderful photo with a very special atmosphere. I like this one very much!
Greetings from springlike Germany!

Hi Anellise,
Another great shot by you. Though i would also love to crop showing only half of the sky. This is a very solemn place to pray.

Great contrast of light between the top and bottom of the image, of course this is a result of selective Pp but the result looks beautiful...

Hi Anellise,
A little church in the middle of nature. Looks very beautiful. Half cloudy weather gives good contrast between sun and shadow. Almost square format gives enough room for the sky.

Hello Anellise,
This is very beautiful. Not only on the composition, but also how you setup this in light and schadow. The framing and crop is excellent, and that big part of blue on top is truly wonderful. Not just a little bit better, but 200% better than your previous "Belief" pictures...absolute great work here.
These images sell, that's for sure..!!!

Hi dear Anellise,
This one is also perfect like it's successors.
Here again you've chosen a good pov. Dark sky and hillslopes builds a perfect background for this nice church with sunlight on. İs that divine light ?
TFS and have a nice weekend
Best regards

Very nice. The light on the church is so powerful with the dark clouds and shaded mountains in the background. The square crop works well here. The colors are nice with the cool sky and the warm grass. Oh, those mountains in the background are calling my name. They are saying "climb me!"
Have a nice weekend,

Hi Anneelliissee,
My religion doesn't allow me to comment on other religious images, but I'll confess this weekend and ask for redemption.
Excellent composition and brilliant framing. The church seems so isolated in this giant landscape; that twist puts more visual impact on the religious structure. The light was waiting for you to arrive - or maybe the other way around - but the moment is exquisite. I like the "1/3 warm light - 2/3 blueish" repartition.
Have a great weekend!

Hello Anellise,
Very beautiful light and composition. The contrast between the blue of the sky and the mountain and of the ochre of the land is very nice.
Best regards,
Catherine

It's quite a series that you have going with all these small churches. This one is quite dramatic because of the lighting - sunlight on the church while the hills and sky in the background are so dark. Another outstanding shot!

Hi Annelise,
he he you're 2 days too early with that one, friday is for mosques, no more Turkey pictures ?? Okay we'll take that one, very nice off centered framing and good light, what makes it special is that such an apparent big church is standing there so isolated.
Wish you a nice week end too jY

Hi Anellise
I like the coolness and the warmth next to each other in this image. The church is well placed using a "rule of thirds" intersection point.
Very well done.

a nice little church, well protected between the trees, and and very well accentuated in the light - great contrast to the dark hills in the back, and the sky, this fantastic sky...
