After passing our gates, we have now arrived at the base camp in the middle of Landmannalaugar. A refuge is open all year round. You will find bath and shower and an old bus converted into a grocery store, it opens in summer. From the shelter, you have many walks to which one to which I invite you in the days to come. Not far from the shelter, you can bathe in a hot spring.
For my friend Peter, a legend on the origin Icelandic elves:
Adam and Eve had many children. One day qu'Eve the washing, s'annonça God. All were not washed, shameful sales of her children, she decided to hide. God was stung, and decided that what was hidden in his view, would be in the eyes of men .... His children can not see that became elves.

LOL camp de base ca fait tres himalayen comme vocabulaire ! c'est quand meme un peu plus plat sur ta photo qui beneficie d'une tres bonne luminosite aussi, et a laquelle le ruisseau donne de la profondeur. J'aime bien ta police de caracteres, elle s'appelle comment ?

C'est loin l'Islande dis donc ! C'est loin aussi ce trek dis donc ! Petite cahcotière. Tu as en boîte plein de belles images à nous présenter.
A première vue j'avais pensé aux pozzi sur les plateaux de nos montagnes. Le POV est excellent tout comme la qualité de l'image.
Merci pour cette nouvelle et charmante légende nordique.

Nice point of view, the picture give a sense of vastness. I like it a lot.
