Photographer’s Note
Kaldalon is a 5 km long bay branching to the north from the large Isafiord Bay. One of the few glacier tongues of the only glacier of the Northwest (of Iceland), Drangajokull, flows down into the short valley at its end. The Morilla River is its discharge and gradually delivers silt deposits, which are filling it up.

Hi Christian,
Amazing people's tastes .. I am a big fan of this vast meditative emptiness .. I wish a bit that you had brought that low stone closer into the foreground .. but still beautiful thoughtful vastness. "In solitude, where we are least alone" ~ Lord Byron
take care,
John
