Namasfjall dominates a very active geothermic zone in the surroundings of the lake Myvatn. At its bottom, there are mud pots while the mountain itself is full of sulphur springs, deposits of sulphur and nauseous fumerolles.

Très chouette cette montagne aux teintes ocres qui s'oppose au ciel gris et lourd. Ca a l'air assez hostile comme coin, mais pour moi qui aime les paysages désertiques, je trouve ça aussi très beau. C'est des gens que l'on aperçoit au sommet de la petite butte?
