The Pearl

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French] |
| Another place to visit absolutely in Reykjavik: The Pearl. It is an Arts Centre built in the heart of the 6 thermal hot water tanks of the city. An entirely glazed dome surmounts the cisterns and forms a well of light which lights the 5 stages. At the underground floor, a water jet spouts out until the 4th flour every 5 minutes to imitate the famous geyser. The 4th flour offers a cafetaria with delicious cakes and a external panorama with 360° on the city, bay, peninsula and domestic airport of Reykjavik. |

Interesting arcitechture, but also a nicely composed image of it. It is a good choice to include some of the green as a foreground and of course you get some 'help' from the nice cloudscape. I think the people on the building are a big contribution as they provide a sense of scale.
Best,
Mikkel
Bonsoir France,
Une très belle image qui associe parfaitement cette belle architecture moderne avec une nature magnifique. Le ciel est superbe.
La note est super intéressante et cela doit être spectaculaire de voir çà.
Amitiés.
