Photographer’s Note

Another shoot from my Iceland trip, in june 2006.

This one is enough similar that the precedent post, but for one time, is not a shoot make with my great angle lens.

I choose a tightened view for it, for the different colors of lupin, and for let more place for the mountains in back plan.

Hallo Alexandre!
For me an astonishing picture. I never had expected such a sea of Flowers in Iceland. These lupines in front of the mountains and glacier work very well and they emphasize the wideness of the landscape. I like this one very much!

hello Alexandre,
you have captured a beautiful landscape here. I did not expect to see so many lupins growing wild. Tey make an attractive scene. You have composed this well, giving over two-thirds of the frame to the flowers. And they are topped off nicely with the mountains.

Hi Alexandre,
Beautiful view with a sea of flowers, mountain background. Typical weather with sunshine between clouds. Maybe a bit lower POV would be even more efficient giving more power to the foreground.

Beautiful portrait of Icelands wonderful landscape and everchanging weather, makes me want to go back NOW :-)
I like how the different colours of the flowers somehow layer the image fore/middleground.
