Green Triangles and Rainbow Photo

Photographer’s Note

This lovely spot, Seljalandfoss, is just by the ring road that encircles the island.

If you followed the trail you could literally touch the rainbow and then pass behind the waterfall itself.

As for the composition - I liked the point in which those three green grass triangles and the trail converge; and the low rainbow, running its course from side to side, including the division of color tones produced by the thin mist (above and below the rainbow).

Hi Daniël,
a lot of good pictures in your gallery. Impressive. Funny titles also.
I like this one because the rainbow disturbs the perception of the landscape and makes it like a view from out of a cave.

A wonderfull rainbow. The mix with that rainbow, the fall and the small dark path make a very interesting composition. Colors a bit muted but not a problem.

I love the almost abstract composition here.I love the textures shwing through the semi transparencies of the rainbow and water.The forground and slightly misty background create two more layers to further enhance this.A favourite!

A good POV of the waterfall and of the rainbow, the photo is sharp and clear. Ot has a good DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.
