Photographer’s Note

On the road from Husavik to Asbyrgi, there is some smal lake, or we must say puddle as they are small. From a hill this is like a mosaic. The contrast between the plants and the water is not so marked for the colour. I have try to accentuate it, but I prefer to show you the original picture with the natural colours.

I'm glad you decided to show the original picture, as it is really interesting, Jacques. Those tones of green inside the lake/puddle look great, as does that brown stretch in the upper left area of your image. I like the effect created by the reflection of light on the water surface. Well seen!

Very typical Iceland as I remember it, totally sterile gravel but if there is just a little water there will be a bright green patch. Well seen and shot with a fine diagonal composition.

Elle est quand même haute cette colline... on dirait que la photo a été prise d'un avion! A voir la photo, je pense que le temps n'était pas de la partie mais bon, je ne peux pas juger la dessus! Je trouve néanmoins que la netteté est excellente et ces mosaiques vallent la peine d'être montrées. Bien vu!
