Photographer’s Note
A photo taken at Geysir in Iceland. The area is full of geothermal activity, resulting in hot springs, bubbling pools and mud pots. The main spring here - "Geysir" - gives its name to the general term for similar springs all over the world (Geysers).
This photos is taken just after an eruption of the smaller geyser, "Strokkar", which erupts every 10 minutes or so.
The photo has not been manipulated and is the original.

Welcome to TE Dave. Good shot of this famous Icelandic feature for your first post. The sun shining through the rising mist makes a dramtic striking view of it.

The sun coming through the steam and mist is a good effect to highlight the other-worldliness of the environment. Well done!
