Photographer's Note

As with my previous photo that i posted, I wanted to show this for Malgo because she wanted to see more landscapes in Iceland :)

The good news is we didn't encounter any rain or snow during our trip in March, the bad news is we only had about 3 days out of 10 where there were clear blue skies or skies with attractive clouds - the other days were very grey and dull, not the best for the classic Iceland landscape photography.

This was certainly one of our better days, and its right in the capital city of Reykjavik. Hard to believe this is literally just a 5 min drive from downtown!

Lisa will be proud to know that i'm standing in the muck and mud here, perhaps not battling the mosquitos she often refers to, but i'm getting dirty :)

This location was one of the first landscapes we photographed on the Island, I remember being so excited. The anticipation to get in the Jeep and keep exploring was there, conflicting with the idea that we should also stay longer to appreciate this scene. So hard to decide what to do!

Its also the location of my first HUNT! I knew there was a shipwreck close by, couldn't see it visually, but i knew it was here from my online studying before arriving.

We soon found the abandoned boat, and one of the funniest traveling stories took place at that shipwreck. But due to embarrassment to my girlfriend Tosca, I dare not share it with you :)

Sorry Brenda, I know you enjoy such traveling stories, but I'll have to keep that one to myself or i'll be in big trouble! haha

Hope you enjoy this photo
cheers
