Photographer's Note

Far from the volcanic tumult, Reykjavik is a quiet and pleasant city. Formerly, the rich houses of the Icelandic capital were built wooden, an imported material. Too expensive and little insulating, it made way little by little for the corrugated iron which recovers from now on most of the facades.
