Photographer's Note

Early morning trek from Akureyi back down to Reykjavik - The sun had just come up, lighting the valley floor and the distant interior peaks. The sheep farmers in the valley had already been starting their corralling efforts (mid-September is when sheep are brought in for the winter months). It was still dark at our vantage point, but only for a few moments. This sight will forever be in my memories of Iceland.
