Photographer’s Note
I took this picture of a bench at Geysir, Iceland. The towel on this bench had actually been melted by the heat of a blast and was left across the bench in this steaming world. I was shooting a black and white roll at the time because I felt that black and white was more conducive to capturing the beauty and mystery of this particular place. This was on the same roll as my geysir eruption shots, which were my favorite from the trip.

Composition wise, I guess you could have done better. The bench is much too centred in the frame and it lacky some dynamic in my opinion.
Still, I can't help having a strange feeling while looking at this very moody scenery, almost unreal. It seems so odd to see that bench in the middle of the heat steam (I guess). The lack of contrast and also the range of tones make it look like an infrared photograph.
