Photographer's Note

Dynjandi lies in a bay is in the fjord Arnarfjörður which is widely considered the most beautiful fjord in the West Fjords.
The bay of Dynjandisvogur is fed by the waterfall Dynjandi (“Thunderer”), which plummets over the edge of the cliff. Measuring 30 meters wide at the top and 60 meters at the bottom, Dynjandi is about 100 meters high including a number of sub tiers. It is the most impressive waterfall in the West Fjords.
The image shown is of the main cascade.
The subtiers of Dynjandi (also called Fjallfoss) are named Bæjarfoss, Hundafoss, Hrísvaðsfoss, Göngumannafoss, Strompgljúfrafoss, and Hæstajallafoss, respectively.

A WORKSHOP is include to show a view across the bay to Dynjandi. It was raining lightly at the time.
