Dynjandi lies in a bay is in the fjord Arnarfjörður which is widely considered the most beautiful fjord in the West Fjords.
The bay of Dynjandisvogur is fed by the waterfall Dynjandi (“Thunderer”), which plummets over the edge of the cliff. Measuring 30 meters wide at the top and 60 meters at the bottom, Dynjandi is about 100 meters high including a number of sub tiers. It is the most impressive waterfall in the West Fjords.
The image shown is of the main cascade.
The subtiers of Dynjandi (also called Fjallfoss) are named Bæjarfoss, Hundafoss, Hrísvaðsfoss, Göngumannafoss, Strompgljúfrafoss, and Hæstajallafoss, respectively.
A WORKSHOP is include to show a view across the bay to Dynjandi. It was raining lightly at the time.

Fine capture of this impressive cascade. I like the slightly gloomy misty atmosphere. Good saturated colours and excellent sharpness. Carefully exposed to capture the motion in the tumbling waters.

This is a fine shot of this great waterfall. Your POV is nice showing the falls from an angle that gives the shot depth and direction. Your photo has outstanding DOF and sharpness and the slower shutter speed blurs the water nicely.

Amazing waterfall. a bit gloomy atmosphere with the dark clouds above. The power of the wild Nature.

I like your choice of shutter speed,it has left just enough detail in the water to create a sense of movement without being over done.
The overcast sky combined with the saturated green FG is also very much to my taste.

So lovely waterfalls, well taken from this pov, interesting dynamic result for water, contrast is well managed.

I didn't see this waterfall on my trips to Iceland but it looks like a place to see ! It is really spectacular and beautiful ! Good POV and nice colours (green moss you can see only in Iceland in the FG !)

i know i say it everytime, but i love your shots from Iceland. I need to go back again soon.
its beautiful how the waterfall cascades down like a staircase, and the WS photo puts it all into perspective.
great post for TE
