Abandoned farm house and shed on the shore of Ísafjarðardjúp. It looks like it might have once been the home of a fisherman because there is a small harbour at the front of the house.
Ísafjarðardjúp is a large fjord in the Westfjords region of Iceland. Its name translates as Ice fjord deep. Ísafjörður, capital of the Westfjords region, is situated close to the mouth of Ísafjarðardjúp

With the crenellations, the farmhouse has the appearance of a castle. I like the point of view and the use of black and white to create a heightens sense of drama. The image has a fine range of tones and very good clarity.

A bad weather day, you did well to convert into a B&W shot. Nice light and contrast.

I generally try to avoid the "easy pickin's" of the most recent photo when I'm not quite familiar with someones gallery...but this was too good to pass by. :) Having said that, I've still very much enjoyed looking over your collection.
I'm a sucker for old, rusted out, weathered and worn subjects like this. Full of textures and character appeal, and the choice of black & white gives it that added punch of artistic interpretation. You've brought some life back to these old houses. Nicely done! enjoy the new day. All the best.

Such beautiful runs, my favourite subject and the reason I got into photography. Once again your choice of black and white is perfect to set a mood to this abaondone view. The castle like appearance of the house is very unexpected in this landscape. The post on the right foreground is a great inclusion, brilliant composition.
All the best
