The Westfjords is a peninsula in Northwestern Iceland. It is very mountainous and the dozen of fjords, together with the harsh weather, make communications by land quite difficult.
Human presence is very sparse, making the Westfjords a place where you can experience nature at its best.
From Isafjorður, the biggest town in the area, it is possible to kayak around the fjords and visit various islands and farms nearby.
You need to paddle only a few kilometers to cross the Isafjarðasjup and reach the Snaefjallastrond, an area that is mostly unhabited.
After a long day of paddling we decided to set our tents there, and more precisely near the mouth of the Möngufoss, to sleep by its waterfall (not visible here).
The sound of the water was a gentle and soft company through the night.

nice the tight frame with the lot of the small water falls to descending from the green hill. The brillint light brings out the details of the whole scene.

Magnifique cascade qui forme un superbe escalier aquatique. La longue exposition donne un bel effet de filé qui contraste joliment avec l'herbe verte. Bravo.

Wow! Iceland is justifiably famous for its waterfalls and here you show another example why. Incredible repetition in a musical format just as you say. Good exposure on the highlights and I like the slight motion blur which suggests movement. Good sharpness and punchy light contrasts with a soft diffused light. Tfs!
