Hello Alan,
This is a fascinating and unusual image. You have captured the luminous quality of the snow - and not a footprint in sight! The composition breaks the rule of not placing the main subject in the centre. However, in this shot the tension between the three elements of sun, mountains and barrel keeps the eye moving across the picture.
