Photographer’s Note
Taken during the festivities celebrating the lighting of the cliffs in Keflavik. They are illuminated in orange light in the lower right of the picture.
The greenish tint in the sky behind the fireworks are the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights. I was very fortunate to capture them AND the fireworks in the same shot!
This was done without a tripod, so that makes it even more special.
