Reynisdrangar and the Coast near Vik
The Black Lava Sand beach outside Vik is covered by snow. It hasn't snowed so much in the south since many year . In the background, on the left of the mountain Reynisfjall appears the Basalt sea stacks of Reynisdrangar formed by the sea after many years of errosion.
The sky was just incredible thanks to rapidly changing weather. I like the opposition of the flat beach and the outstanding stacks and cliffs in the background.

Interesting landscape, I like the cloud details and snow, but I'd also like to know more about the place ;)
How about those rocky outcroppings in the distance, could we see a recrop of them shown closer?
[Edit]
thanks for the informative note!
;)
Hi Samuel,
beautiful scenery...Iceland definitely seems to be a photographer's paradise. I like the eye-leading line of clouds and the pointy rocks in the background.
Welldone.
