Photographer's Note
Day 2 - Reykjavik - Vik
Still on Dyrhólaey peninsula near Vik on south coast of Iceland, here is Dyrhólaey lighthouse. A first lighthouse was built there in 1910, but the actual one was built in 1927. It sits top of cliffs at a 118 metres altitude. It has a white flash every 10 seconds. I took this picture on a nice end of day light.

hi olivier,
the light illuminating the lighthouse is wonderful, very warm, and appealing. you have placed the lighthouse perfectly in the frame, showing us a lovely grassy foreground, and then a stunning view over the sea.
regards,
brian

Hi Olivier,
i can see you was lucky with the weather when you visited Iceland. The lighthouse looks like an interesting building but i guess it was not possibly to go inside? I like the warm light and the pleasant colors, excellent composition also, well done!
Have a nice evening.

Olivier
Le phare est intéressant mais c'est évidemment la lumière qui fait toute la photo ici.

Re-bonjour Olivier,
Les belles teintes chaudes qui baignent cette photo sont du plus bel effet.
Belle photo, bravo !
