Photographer’s Note
An amazing drive along the Selardalur route in the West Fjords provided many opportunities to photograph the beautiful beaches and view the stunning mountains across Arnarfjordur.
At the end of the route at Selardalur itself is the rather odd abandoned home of the eccentric Icelandic artist Samuel Jonsson which displays his bizarre work including a recently restored church in bright white and pink.

Hi Jon
Very nice perspective and wonderful colors on the beach and the sky.
The 1/4s effect is a good choice, I think

Wonderful photo, excellent composition exposure and colours. But you have placed this in the Westman Isles instead of West Fjords.
