Day 7 : Hólaskjól - Landmannahellir

During our trip in Iceland we often woke up at dawn. So we appreciated a lot a small sleep and a relaxing afternoon in Landmannahellir camp. But in early evening we went to take pictures near Ljótipollur crater (photos very soon of course !). Along the F225 road, the steppe landscapes on the north slopes of Landmannalaugar mountains made a nice natural graphical subject !

J'aime beaucoup ce genre de paysage , avec de jolies nuances , dans les formes et les couleurs . Manque peut être un élément pour donner l'échelle .

your photo shows very unique place. The colors are very beautiful and their homogeneity allows better focus on the spectacular sturcture. The whole picture looks almost unnatural - I wish I could go there!

Your beautiful Iceland shots keep coming, Olivier, each with a new and interesting look at this remarkable landscape. I like the isolated focus on the hills here, with that unearthly green moss lighting up the shot. Beautiful, with the small stream making its way out of the crevice.

Hello Olivier, a very nice image here. Iceland has some spectacular landscapes and some impossible to pronounce names for the mountains and pretty much everything. Lovely green. I wonder how it looks now under the snow.
