Photographer’s Note

Green is wonderful.

Another picture of the Maelifellsandur (see Lights of Iceland ).

This water is coming from groundwater coming out of the sandur (see definition in ‘Lights of Iceland’). The mouse develop as the water becomes surface water. The whole sandur is filled with water coming from the glacier (Myrdalsjokull).

This place is known on the map as Odufell on F210 around 63°45 and 19°15.

Picture taken with a fisheye to embrace the whole emergence and landscape.

Believe it or not this is exactly how green is in Iceland.

C'est vrai qu'elles sont éclatantes ces couleurs. Je ne sais pas si c'est grâce au format RAW, mais c'est impressionnant.
Je ne sais pas si j'aurais aussi photographié au 10mm ou si j'aurais choisi d'isoler un détail. Mais c'est très réussi.

Très bel endroits, belle photo, par contre je la trouve trop saturée, le vert ne donne pas naturel.

Bonjour Michel,

Voici un usage audacieux du fish eye et ca marche bien. J aime beaucoup cet arc de sable en premier plan qui enserre ce paysage vert fluo si particulier a l Islande.

C'est très lumineux, avec un beau contraste de couleurs. Effectivement, le vert vif est surprenant mais à bien réfléchir, pas plus que celui des rizières sous un soleil rasant. La neige sur le sol noir qui semble sablonneux me paraît beaucoup plus incroyable. La forme convexe donnée par le fisheye me laisse une curieuse impresion; je n'arrive pas à décider si ça me gêne ou si c'est ce qui me captive. Mais je n'ai aucun doute sur l'ensemble: j'aime. Et la petite rivère serpentine que je remarque au dernier moment, m'entraîne loin...Bravo!
