Photographer’s Note
The fields in the small town of Varmahlíð. I say a town, but it's actually just 120 people living on the eastern side of a green valley. Said valley is the first green area that can be seen when coming from Kjölur, further south inside the country. Just past the top of the hills in the background, you could see naked rocks with bits of moss for as far as your eye could see; the grass is entirely concentrated inside the valley fed by the river.
