Photographer’s Note
Osar, on the Vatnsnes Peninsula in northern Iceland, has a beautiful beach renowned for its seals and sunsets. This is a picture of seaweed stranded on the beach in the late afternoon.
Same location as this and this

The vertical framing suits perfectly this nice composition. And the colours are excellent as well as it is the sun setting light. Another interesting thing is the black sand on the beach. Well done,
Antonio

Hi John,
It's been awhile since we saw you here, hope you are doing fine.
Of course these classic composition are well seen and captured by your eyes and camera. Brings great depth over the water with a small but great sky on top...

Hello John,
It was a long time from your previous post. Nice to see you again.
The composition is very good and the wide angle lens put well in evidence the varech. Then the dark black sand of the beach and the cloudy but colored sky providence a strong ambiance.
I am counting the days before my trip in Iceland. It will be only Landmanalauggar, but should be good also for photo.
Yves.

Hi John,
As anyone can tell by the pictures in my gallery I'm not into landscapes at all, but somehow I'm always attracted to your pictures.
This one again is pure magic to me: excellent sharpness, beautifully natural colours and the wide horizontal angle...all this just makes me go 'wow!' - I do know why I'm attracted to your landscapes: it's the sheer quality of them. Impressive!

Hi John,
Good to see you back. I love these beach scenes you did in Iceland but of the three from this location I think this one is my favorite. I think the simplicity of the subject here and the light on the seaweed is what is really attracting me to it.
We need to get back to Iceland mate!

It's great to see you back John!
This is a truly gem with the seaweed kissed by the evening light making the compo beautiful to look at. As always, the quality standard is set to the highest level and this is a joy for the eye. Wonderful, simply wonderful.
Take care,
Igor

Hi John, That low sun has done you a favour, with the reflection off the wet seaweed making it stand out from the black sand. And the dark sea and sky complement the mood. great shot. Cheers, Steve

Bonjour John,
Bon WE.
Amicalement,
Olivier
