Another picture of Hvitarnes, the oldest hut (1930) of The Icelandic Tourist Club and it still serves its purpose.
Some of the overnight visitors of the hut claim to be aware of the ghost of a young woman, especially if they occupy a special bed. This woman is said to have died of exposure fetching water during a snow storm.

This is mostly a delta area between some rivers on the northeastern side of Lake Hvitarvatn. On a fine day, the surroundings of this area are breathtakingly beautiful.

The landscape is great and you have presented it nicely. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and detail. The architecture is interesting here with the rock up the side of the cabin, I suppose for insulation.

It's weird how everything changes after you have some more information...Yes, a nice photo, with nice colors and beautiful lush grass but how scary now...

Ciao Matteo,
non so come mai, ma questa mi era scappata, forse perche' in "formato unghia" non risalta. Viceversa in grande composizione e colori saltano immediatamente all'occhio. Il livello di sharpness applicato e' perfetto e "fa uscire l'erba dallo schermo" senza sembrare assolutamente artificioso. Una nota tecnica sull'uso del polarizzatore: sarei curioso di vedere come sarebbero usciti i riflessi sull'acqua senza.
Io personalmente lo uso abbastanza poco e provo quasi sempre diverse versioni piu' o meno polarizzate, per verificare cosa succede. A volte le differenze, a parte il blu del cielo, sono limitate. Altre volte i riflessi cambiano parecchio e i risultati sono visibilmente diversi.
