Hi John,

this lake really has a fantastic coulour!
The contrast between the browns of the earth and the turqouise of the hot water is beautiful.
Very nice how the steam rises from the lake!

Hello John,

Iceland is a wonderful country for photographer. Here, you caught the water, the geyser, the cloudy deep sky and the yellow colors of the earth.
Very good composition in this shot.
Moreover it is a futurist shot as you took it in 7 months in August 2008 ;-)

Wonderful shot of the blue pool in orange rock. It is amazing scenery. The dramatic sky makes a good contrast with the colourful foreground. Good work

Hi John,
Great shot of this strange, yet wonderous landscape. The colors are just spellbinding. I did not get a chance to venture into this part of Iceland when I was there in 2005. It looks very different from the southern area, but no less facinating.

I always marvel at the colours around these pools and geysers. I think the cloudy day has allowed these colours to really pop. Good composition.

Hi John,

uf, I see I missed so many marvelous shots. This one is amazing. It is absolutely superb. The softness comming from it due to steam and difuse light is exceptional not to mention colour harmony and diversity. It is absolutely stunning!
