This is what I love about Iceland. One can jump out of the car and point almost anywhere for a spectacular shot. The composition is marvelous with the foreground and mid-ground working nicely together, and a bit off center to give the shot flow. Nothing like those mt in the backgroud!

Very nice shot Alex!
Great composition and foreground details. I like it is dark and cold too, very nice atmosphere. I know because it is wide angle the horizon is dropping down on the left hand side a little so I will maybe fix that, but it is not necessary... Very nice capture.
Best regards!!
Tomasz

Hi Alex.

Iceland looks a great country for photographers specialized in making landscape images. You made a good use of your wide angle in this dark weather conditions. Welle composed and an excellent point of view.

Regards,

Eddie

hi alex
once again you prouve me i still don't know all the country :D
beautiful composition ,congratulation
best regards,anes

Nice shot. Abandoned tyres - actually completely not passing here - give this frame more depth and make the scenery quite surreal. I like the proportions between earth and the sky, too.

Joanna

Hi Alex,
Technically everything here seems perfect, starting with the compo. The image is full of interest, and you have provided a foreground which depicts excellent textures in the grassy ground, as well as the icey waters. The strip of land leads the eye nicely towards the distant ruins which are perfectlt positioned in the frame. Overall a superb photo which has been well managed. Well done.
Cheers Grant

hi alex
I definitely like your POV in this shot ... it provides such good perspective. The low light hasn't prevented you from getting rich colours and great sharpness.

best regards didier

Hi Alex,
OK we can talk about the tires, how necessary they are for this shot. The composition with the lines leading to the off-centered houses is perfect, in any case.
Cheers Christian

Nice contrast between the tires on the foreground, and the beauty of the nature and the castle in the background; The path efficently brings the eye towards the background.

Congrats :)
