Reflection on Myvatn Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another shot of lake Mývatn, in north-eastern Iceland. The day was wonderfully bright, the clouds were perfectly shaped and well distributed and little wind allowed for a good reflection on the shallow lake's surface.

A favourite part of the world of mine!

I was there in October, when it certainly wasn't quite so summery as this is! Doesn't it look vast and endless?

I may attempt to do a Workshop when I get home from work - I'd be inclined to try to reduce the rotation and sharpen the foreground, and perhaps crop a little of the sky away - but otherwise you should be very pleased, it's a wonderful picture - well done!
