Photographer's Note

Here is Hverfjall crater seen from Dimmbuborgir "dark castles" in the east of Mývatn lake in the north of Iceland. This crater is an almost perfect ring born from an eruption on Krafla fissure swarn 2,500 years ago. The top is at 420 metres height and makes it a landmark in the area. The volcano itself is 250 metres height and the crater is 200 metres deep and 1,200 metres diameter. The photo was token in the end of the afternoon. We had many showers before but the light at that moment was just fantastic ! We really had fun taking pictures there as you will see on my next pictures !
