Photographer’s Note
There are two ways to hike in the canyon after Dettifoss: the upper and the lower. The lower is more difficult ( that's probably why we chose this one...). This path allows to be very close to Hafragilsfoss, but the other one seems to allows a great view of the whole canyon... The best is of course to do both.
This picture shows a blue water which contrasts with the muddy water of the river Jökulsá á Fjöllum. This color is due to the sedimentation which occurs locally (because of the absence of current)

Hello Mickael,
very nice and colorful landscape picture of this beautiful canyon. Not very easy light conditions, but you have managed this quite well.
Best wishes,
Helmut

Excellent shot! I like the use of contrast in this, which really gives this a dramatic appearance. That blue colour of the water really is incredible too, so unique and beautiful. Well done!
