This is my last picture of Iceland i share in TE.
I was in Iceland one and a half year ago and enjoyed the nature of this beautiful island everywhere: mountains, incredible waterfalls, lunar landscapes, milions of birds,...sometimes i thought i was in other world. I hope humans don't destroy all these stunning landscapes in the future. As you can see in my picture we are so small in front of that nature but at the same time we are so stupids and egoists that sometimes i think we don't deserve this beautiful planet.
This picture was one of my lasts shots with my F-70 with slides colour. There were no filter on the lens. The day was foggy and cold... and it was getting dark.
I used a tripod and my favorite slides: VELVIA 50 Colour.
As i told you this is my last picture of Iceland. In the last days i've upload a selection of 18 pictures for all my friends of TE.
Now i'm gonna stop for some weeks, but i'll come back with some pictures of other place of our planet.

This is really well taken Ricard - you captured the immense power of the falls, and the lone figure lends the scene a useful sense of scale.
The movement blur adds a lot to the success of the shot - any more and it would have been over the top, but I think you judged it well.
I think a crop along the top to remove the strip of sky would work well - to my eyes it increase the sense of power of the waterfalls even more.

I never really get tired of seeing photos from this beautiful waterfall. This one is quite different from any other ones I've seen, with interesting colours of blue and gray. I love the inclusion of the man for added scale.

A superb photograph, presenting the silhouette of the rugged landscape and the hiker in the foreground, against the remarkable waterfalls. For a scanned slide, it is a very good.

Great perspective of the waterfall. I consider that having this hiker in the image gives a better effect.

A magnificient view.
I like the counter light and the juztaposition between the small fragile hiker and the mighty naturl,.
dark tones are also extremly suitable for this image!

That's a stunning shot, not just the waterfall itself but also the awesome movement of the river below as it rushes past. The silhouetted figure and rocks work well, it almost seems like a member of the audience standing in front of an enormous cinema screen. Beautiful Velvia motion blur!
Just an idea - I like your black frame here but perhaps a thin white line around the edge of the photo itself might have worked well to separate the silhouetted rocks from the frame. As it is I find the black area a bit overpowering.

You have placed the man in his best position here to highlight his size in comparison with the falls. Good slow shutter to show smoothness of the falling flow of water but still keeping the man in focus. Great pov and angle of shot.

Depiction of the huge flows by using of the slow shutter speed is superb. The size of scale can be understood by putting the person. The tonality like monochrome is also exquisite.
Have a nice summertime, Hisashi

La perspective est juste grandiose !
On ressent dans ce cliché la puissance de l'eau.
Et l'intrusion de l'homme au bas semble nous rappeller combien l'homme est petit face à la nature.
