After a few days in Mżvatn lake area and incredible moments in memory we continue our tour on road 1 to the north of Iceland and Akureyri ... with a wonderful weather ! On the way we make a pause to see one of the most famous waterfall of Iceland : Gošafoss, the "gods waterfall". This waterfall is 12 metres height and 30 metres large. It is on the river Skjįlfandafljót. The waterfall is not so impressive but it is incredibly beautiful. It is one of the most visited site in Iceland.

I love the color of the water here, a beautiful blue and jade tone. I can see why this is so well visited. The people in the scene are a very nice part of the composition to give scale to this beautiful place.
Thanks for sharing.

amazing place and very well presented. The water running down the cliffs has so much power and dynamism - well done for catching it so well. I like couple of the people on the shore which give us sense of scale and diversify the composition. Very good colors and well given contrast, ideal sharpness.

Splendid, wild place. Thus I can't decide whether the inclusion of the figures in the frame helps or hinders the overall effect. I think on balance they give a sense of scale, and the red coats certainly create a focal point of contrast with the natural colours of the rest of the shot. And what colours they are!

this is such a beautiful place! Iceland seems so beautiful seen through your reportage. I like the green color of the water which adds a nice touch. The sky was lovely too. Including people allowed us to imagine better the scale.
Very encouraging to visit Iceland!

This is also a spectacular view from Iceland, in this instance of the Gošafoss Waterfalls. I wonder how far it is from Reykjavik. Again thanks for the note. It is not a large as either the Niagara or Iguazu, but it is not full of tourists either.
