Photographer's Note
Kite Aerial Photography
Picture of Namafjall from the sky.
In fact you do not see someone taking a picture but the shadow of someone taking a picture. The guy is vertical and you hardly see him.
Iceland is a land of wind and aerial pictures are feasible using a kite. I gave it a try in 2010. Namafjall looks like a painting seen from above.
Kite Aerial Photography is a creative way to get unusual angles from low altitudes, giving the images a unique view.

Hi Michel,
without the presence of the shadow -a great illusory effect, i realized what it was only after reading your note- of the man taking photos it could seem an abstract painting or an image from Google Maps.In effect Iceland has a colours palette like that of a painter. The earthy colours are made very well, even in their slightest shades.Good also the POV and the composition.
I forgot, great gallery.

Ciao Michel,
Fantastica questa immagine! Se non fosse per la presenza della figura umana potrebbe essere tranquillamente scambiata per un paesaggio lunare! Molto bella l'inquadratura dall'alto! Bellissimi i colori, soprattutto le scale dei grigi!
saluti, Nino.

Hi Michel.
Amazing shot! I don't know how you do it - attach the camera and fire the shutter - but the result is interesting and artistic and does give a good impression of the rocky landscape. Somehow you got a good composition here, maybe with the help of cropping, but I think the person holding the camera must have been near the edge of the photo. Quite an illusion. Very intriguing.

Andrew

Bonjour Michel
c'est une grande première dans TE: photographie à partir d'un cerf volant!
Grâce à la personne et son ombre, on comprend la photo et ses dimensions!
Un grand bravo pour cette innovation
