Photographer’s Note

After whale-watching in Husavik (proably the main reason for the fame of this city), we ended our northern tour in Akureyri. We realised that we arrived there one day too early for the flight... Next time we'll check the date. So we can walk on the city. The main church is (to me) absolutely awful, but fortunately we found a very nice little church, with a nice light on it, so that I couldn't prevent myself to take a little photo of it.
(nearly the only picture of Akureyri I took)

bonjour mickael,
la lumiere sur l'église est parfaite pour faire ressortir ce bâtiment de la meilleure façon, le ciel chargé renforce le contraste et le résultat final est du plus bel effet.

Bonjour Mickael ,
Superbes contrastes , avec ce ciel sombre et cette belle lumière . Et évidemment , ces bâtisses rouges et blanches , çà en met plein les yeux . Très bon cadrage , également .

C'est une photo que j'aime car le contraste rouge/blanc et gris/bleu du ciel est très bien rendu. Il se dégage une atmosphère paisible.

The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The red roofs provide excellent contrast for the dark sky.
