Photographer’s Note
A picture taken during my 2 days stay in Akureyri. I make a strong case for this city being the most beautiful one in Iceland. It has many hilly streets, small rivers and bridges peppered across the residential streets and also, surprisingly, lots of trees. It is also set in the gorgeous setting of Eyjafjörður, a very long and very impressive fjord.
For those of you planning a trip to Iceland, Akureyri is definitely a must.
