Photographer's Note

Still on Streitishvarf peninsula with a view towards the small fishermen village of Breiðdalsvík. It may be hidden by the rocks in the foreground here. The village is surrounded by typical Eastern fjords mountains : they follow a east-west line and are inclined to the west, actually to the icelandic rift that separates the Eurasian plate and the North American plate. In the west of Iceland the mountains incline to the other side, to the east. The rusty barrel should not be here, but I found it was a good element to include in the foreground for the composition.
