On the heighs of Skaftafell National Park, a wide view on one of the ends of the Vatnajokull glacier. A piece of Iceland mood.
Graduated neutral grey filter used during shoting to get details in the sky.

Sur les hauteurs du parc naturel de Skaftafell, coincé entre l enorme glacier du Vatnajokull et les entendus de sables inhabitées amenant a la mer. Un petit morceau d Islande sauvage.
Utilisation d un filtre degradé gris neutre a la prise de vue pour garder des details dans le ciel.

So remote and beautiful. The perfect place to enjoy solitude and peace away from civilization. Nice point of view showing this glacier in the distance. The clouds do enhance the mood of the moment well. Nice work Yves.

Hi Yves,
Rough Icelandic nature well presented. Wide angle gives lots of details from front to back. Glacier and meltwater lake are special, not everyday sights. Good contrasty shot even with no doubt typical cloudy weather.

En ce moment tu dégaines vite !
Encore une image sauvage à souhait... Cela me rappelle par instant le nord de l'Irlande ou le nord de l'Ecosse, la neige en moins.
Je pensais que tu utilisais un filtre au post-traitement, mais je ne savais pas qu'il existait des filtres dégradés de gris à placer sur l'objectif.
Pour garder les nuances du ciel, j'utilise un filtre polarisant, mais cela fonctionne bien surtout par beau temps.

Hello Yves,

Tu t'en es bien tiré ici. La lumière était plus que moyenne et tu as su utiliser ton grand angle afin de rendre l'image grandiose avec cet avant plan rapproché et ce paysage qui semble immense comparé aux personnes qui donnent l'échelle ici. L'utilisation du filtre est ici une excellente idée.

Salut Yves, beautiful use of the vertical framing with the wide angle. The rocks in the FG really "make" this photo combined with a superb DOF. This place is amazing - your adventures always give me itchy feet! Excellent work, Lisa.

Très jolie tes images Islande, bien qu'il ne doit pas faire des plus chaud je trouve ces paysage façinant, calme et sauvage, bonne utilisation du filtre pour accentué les détails et couleurs

Your pictures from Iceland are fantastic!
This land is really incredible, so different and wild.
Still, living in Ireland now I need to go for vacations to places which have more sun which I am missing here.

This shot here has an amazing composition. The textures are changing from the foreground to the background so much. It has a very unique atmosphere.
