Photographer's Note

If you want to enjoy the nature of Iceland the best thing you can do is walking 3 or 4 days across the volcanic landscapes of this Island.
I read in the Altaďr Magazine (magazine of Barcelona) about a 3 days trekking in the Landmannalaugar area and when i was in Iceland i trek in some places of that beautiful route. If one day, in the future, i come back to Iceland this will be my main target.
You can make the round around the island and visit a lot of beautiful places, but believe me that sometimes is not so important the number of km you make. The perfect Island experience is just walking with no hurry across the volcanic fields of lava under the rain and sometimes dry your clothes with the casual warm rays of the sun.

NOTE:
Now i've seen is not right to place Landmannalaugar in Sudhur-Mulasysla i think a lot of TE friends are wrong when they upload their pictures of Landmannalaugar in this area. I guess Sudhur-Mulaasysla is in Eastern fiords... but i'm not sure 100%.
Another TE user uploaded a recent picture and he wrote that that was in Nordhurland Vestra Skagarfjordharsysla
Now i'm confused. Does anybody can help me to locate the area of Landmannalaugar. I'm sure is in the south of Iceland, between Reykjavik and Jokurlkarson, and close to Thórsmörk. But after reading a lot of pictures with the same wrong (i guess) location finally i'm not sure of the real name of the area.
Thanks!
